One Warm Coat
With record lows this winter, the need for warm coats was greater than ever. The FSTC served as a collection site for the San Ramon Valley Rotary Club’s 18th Annual Warm Coat Drive. The drive began on November 1, 2013 and continues through January 14th. The FSTC with the help of our neighbors at PG&E collected more than 200 coats during the drive. The Rotary expects to collect more than 6,000 coats and blankets in 2013. The clothing is being distributed to homeless men, single mothers and their children. Charities included are: The New Hope International Church in Concord, St. Vincent DePaul-Pittsburgh, Emeryville Community Action Program, Shelter Incorporated-Martinez, Crossroads Shelter-Pittsburgh, Salvation Army, and VA Hospital – Livermore.
