Follow the path to sustainability and get the recipe for an Energy Efficient Restaurant at the FSTC’s hands-on interactive display featuring low cost, no cost energy and water
saving tips and demonstrations.
The lighting display will showcase the latest in energy-efficient lighting technologies, including next-generation LEDs and dimmable cold cathode compact
fluorescents. These are now available in a wide variety of applications, including PAR, MR-16, flame-tip, bullet and globe styles.
An interactive sink demonstration will show how small leaks from faucets add up to big costs from unnecessary energy and water loss. Drip gauges will be handed out
for Chefs to use in their own kitchens, allowing them to see that an apparantly minor drip is costing much more than they realized.
Walk away with tips that will improve your bottom line and learn how you can win your own Energy Efficient Starter Kit ($650 value).
Richard Young will be speaking with Chris Koetke of Kendall college on Tuesday morning, presenting the "Cutting Edge of Green - The Best in Products and Services". For more information,
