Abraham Wilson a.k.a. Mr. Food Safety® and the Food Service Technology Center (FSTC) have combined resources to
promote Food Safety Education and Certification.
In California, any retail food business that handles a non-prepackaged food item is required to have at least one employee trained and
certified in food safety and sanitation every 5 years.

There is a Course Fee for Classroom Instruction, Course Material and Examination.
Examinations are Available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean and Japanese.
Pre-Study Material Sent to Each Enrollee Prior to the Class.
Minimum Passing Score for Certification is 75% Based Upon a 90-Question Multiple-Choice Examination.
